At 9.30am at City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR. The city council needs to fundamentally re-shape the relationship between businesses, residents and the Council to one that is more resilient and self-reliant; increasing collective responsibility and encouraging and supporting local people, partner organisations, businesses and local communities to play a more active role in achieving agreed outcomes.
This event is for people who work day to day with the people of Bristol – housing officers, community and youth workers, PCSOs, Beat Officers, social workers, community educators, support workers from the public and voluntary sectors. The city faces unprecedented challenges and the council is consulting. It’s asking questions. How can they transfer more power to people? Build on what’s strong rather than what’s wrong? How can they collaborate and maximise limited resources?
