The theme this year is ‘How Can Life Go On?’ There are various events happening in and around Bristol to mark the day. The main Holocaust Memorial Day Civic Commemoration is being held on Friday 27th January from 2pm to 5 pm (registration 1.30 pm), at City Hall, Bristol . The Keynote speaker is Barbara Winton, who will be talking about ‘Nicholas Winton & the Czechoslovak Kindertransport: Turning compassion into action’.
