Bristol Walking Festival 2014- Diverse Doors Open Day

An opportunity to visit a range of places of worship and discover the many faith communities that exist in Bristol. We anticipate the walkers will be allowed in various faith places and will be able to ask questions. In our experience all faith places are very welcoming, but is subject to confirmation.

Starts: 10.30am

Start location: Pavement between Thali and Easton Mosque, 66 St Mark’s Rd, Bristol BS5 6JH

 The proposed timetable is as per below:

Stop 1 – 10:30 am at Easton Jamia Mosque, 66 St Marks Road, Easton, BS5 6JH. Tentatively confirmed

Move on at approx 11.30 am to

Stop 2: 11:45 am at Bristol and West Progressive Synagogue, 43/47 Bannerman Road, Easton, BS5 0RR. Confirmed.

Move on at approx 12:45pm to

Stop 3: 1pm, at St Nicholas of Tolentino, Roman Catholic Church, Lawford’s Gate, Easton, BS5 0TJ. Subject to confirmation

Leave at approx 1.45pm

Stop 4: 2:15pm  at Bristol Hindu Temple, 163 Church Rd, Redfield, BS5 9LA. The temple doesn’t open during the day. Therefore walkers will not be able to see it from inside.

Stop 5: 2:45pm  at Siri Singh Gurdwara, 307 Church Road, St George, BS5 8AA. Confirmed
